Position: Software Engineer

The fast growing Enlabeler team is looking for a Software Engineer who can drive and fast track the development of our tools and platforms. Do you have a track record of delivering high quality tech solutions from concept to production? Then we would love to talk to you.

We are looking for a self starter who can take initiative, work autonomously and take ownership of the product development roadmap and the end to end execution thereof. We are looking for an experienced software engineer who can lead a team in a fast paced, constantly changing environment. Our culture and purpose is our number one priority, and therefore we need a team player with shared passion for job creation in Africa through the use of technology.

Applicant requirements:

• 5+ years of full-stack web development experience
• 5+ years of experience with python and python web server frameworks (django or flask)
• Knowledge and experience with developing on AWS or Azure cloud platforms. Other cloud platforms like GCP beneficial.
• Demonstrable experience of developing professional software from concept to production.
• Proven experience in leading a development team or other developers
• Ability to translate and explain technical requirements to stakeholders at all levels and ability to clearly communicate deliverables of each project with team members
• Passion for engineering products, technology and AI
• Good communication and time management skills
• Experience with any of the following a plus: Docker, Kubernetes, React and Typescript
• Interest in AI tools, libraries and languages is an advantage
